Role: On Hugo's surgeon console, I am the 'mechanical technical expert'. I contributed to manufacturing processes on the pilot build and supported subsystem designs focused on improving product reliability and stability after launch. I am a subsystem owner for unreleased robots as both a lead and individual technical contributor within the areas of mechanical design, system architecture, manufacturing and testing. My subsystems include static compute systems and dynamic mechanical transmissions with user interfaces.

Title: Structures Engineering Co-op

Group: Dragon Vehicle secondary structures engineering team

Role: I was a responsible engineer that designed and analyzed hardware for the new Dragon 2 Crew and Cargo Vehicles. My responsibilities included hardware design, structural analysis, and developing integration procedures and tests for flight hardware and systems. I designed the primary sheet metal enclosure to secure all aft wire harnesses leading to the avionics computers and contributed to a testing campaign for new vehicle battery integration. I also designed multiple simple sheet metal brackets for cable connectors and cameras both inside and outside the capsule. Role: Mechanical engineer and lab technician intern learning about the design of augmented reality systems for jet fighter and helicopter pilot helmets. I designed component hardware on the Scorpion Flight system and assembled flight ready systems for our clients.
